"This book reminds us we are destined for a love that can never be diminished, tarnished, shaken or taken- a love that does not reject or uninvite. "
Do You Have Any "Bazaar" Donations?
We are accepting donations until October 20: knick-knacks, regift-ables, and Christmas decorations. You can drop your items off at the church.
The Best Bazaar Ever will be October 24 from 9:00am to 2:00pm.
Cybersecurity Workshop Oct. 25
Do you lock your car doors?
Place valuable items in the trunk, glove box or under the seat?
Do you lock your house doors?
Turn on outside lights?
Do you keep your wallet or your purse on your person?
The answer is probably YES to all the above. Safeguarding yourself and your family in the digital world is not much different ... a few simple things that become second nature.
Join us on Sunday October 25, at 12:30pm in the Church Parlor for a presentation/discussion on "Safeguarding Yourself and Your Family in the Digital World."
Digital safety means protecting your online accounts, personal information, and electronic devices from hacking, phishing, and identity theft.
FALL FESTIVAL / FOOD DRIVE: Wednesday, October 28 5:30pm to 7:00pm
Trick or Treats!
Games and Crafts!
Good Things to Eat!
Something sweet and a little bit spooky is coming your way. As the excitement builds, we're thinking that you have questions! Here are the answers to the Fall Festival FAQ!
What do you mean by Food Drive?
Halloween is literally the beginning of the holiday season. We thought that as we celebrate we can get a jump start on filling local food pantries. Bring canned and boxed goods to the festival and show our TCC (This Congregation Cares!)
Isn't this just for kids?
Nope! As adults, we get to have fun with Halloween! There will be food, crafts and games for ALL ages! Our church will be full of visitors - new people to meet! Think of it as our RCFUMC Neighborhood Block Party.
Do I have to wear a costume?
Costumes are only required if you are trick or treating from 5:30-6:00pm. (But it's fun to dress up!)
What if I don't have time to eat supper?
Please, DON'T eat supper at home! Join us here for dinner! Sign up online or in the narthex so we have an accurate count!
It sounds fun, but I don't really know anyone else. Won't I feel AWKWARD?
No awkward feelings allowed! If you aren't good at small talk, how about volunteering to host a minute-to-win-it game or help with a craft? We really need volunteers, and you can sign up in the narthex. It's the perfect way to meet lots of people!
What kind of help is needed before the event?
Glad you asked! If you would like to donate candy, small prizes or help with dinner, you can sign up in the narthex.
For more info, contact Anne Torgerson. See you at the festival!
Quest Sundays 5:15pm. to 6:00pm.

Snowblower Needed for Parsonage
Do you have access to a snowblower you don’t intend to use this winter that you would be willing to donate or lend to the church? Do you know of someone who is downsizing, moving into congregate living or otherwise and is looking to find a good home for a snowblower? If so, please contact either pastor, the office, or one of the following Trustees: Dennis Wickard, Teresa Dighton, Randy Ofstad, Paul Ricker. This would help the church fulfill its responsibility for parsonage snow removal without major expenditure of dwindling funds.
