Children’s Programs

Here’s a list of the many programs we offer throughout the week. Lori Miklos is our Director of Children’s Programming. and you may contact her with any questions.  Miss Lori at the church 342-4498.
Children’s Church
Following the Children’s sermon at the 9:30 service, children preschool through 3rd grade are invited to attend Children’s Church upstairs in the Children’s Wing. 
Sunday School
Sunday School begins at 11 am upstairs in the Children’s Wing.  These classes are for children ages preschool – 4th grade. Youth classes for 5th – 12th grade are available in the Youth Wing downstairs.   Adult classes are also available at this time.
Wednesday Nite Live
Doors open at 6 pm for our Wednesday Nite Live program!  Classes begin at 6:15 pm.  Join us upstairs in the Children’s Wing as we explore Bible concepts and stories through a rotational learning environment.   Youth and Adult classes are also available on Wednesday evenings.
Nursery care is offered for all three morning worship services as well as Wednesday evening. Our nursery program is designed for children under age 5. If you child is over age 5, we ask that they attend Children’s Church or WNL.
Mom’s Morning Out
MMO is a weekday ministry designed to give Moms (and Dads) a 3 hour break to run errands, go to appointments or just have a quiet cup of coffee.  MMO is for children ages 1 through 5 years old and  meets on Tuesday and Thursday mornings during the school year.  Contact Miss Lori for more information about tuition and class availability. 
Vacation Bible School

Fall Festival
You’re invited to join us for our Fall Festival each October!  At the Fall Festival we enjoy carnival games and lots of fun activities.  This year’s Fall Festival is Wednesday, October 26
th from 6:00-7:30 pm.  Costumes are ok to wear, but no scary costumes please! 
3rd Grade Bible Sunday and Bible Boot Camp
Each fall we present our new 3rd graders with a new kid-friendly Adventure Bible.  A few weeks later we learn how to use that Bible at Bible Boot Camp!  This year’s Bible Boot Camp is Sunday, October 16, 2016 from 4-8pm. 
The goal of children’s ministry at First UMC is show your children the love of Jesus in a fun, safe, creative, loving environment all throughout the week.  If you have any comments, questions or concerns, please call the church office and speak to Lori Miklos, Children’s Ministry Coordinator at
